After earning his undergraduate degree at Fergusson College in Pune, India, Dr. Jairath received his medical degree at the Armed Forces Medical College, also in Pune. He completed a rotating internship at Command Hospital in New Delhi, India, and his residency in radiology at Patiala Medical College, in Patiala, India, before relocating to the United States.
Dr. Jairath went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in Richmond, Virginia.
