Dr. Bimaljit Sandhu appointed to Governor Northam’s Transition Policy Council

RGA is proud to share that one of our physicians, Dr. Bimaljit Sandhu, was recently appointed to serve on the Transition Policy Council on Health and Human Services for Governor Ralph Northam.

The Council is focused on providing insights and perspectives to the Governor in a number of areas including:

• Access and expansion of health care coverage for the constituents of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Guidance in relation to Professional Practice and regulations.
• Communications regarding Behavioral Health Services.
• Review of data and its use in relation to the constituents of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Public health issues impacting children and other vulnerable populations in our state.
