Casey Forman, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant at Richmond Gastroenterology Associates. Casey sees patients at the West Creek office in Henrico, Virginia.
She graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University (VU), in Villanova, Pennsylvania, with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and two minors in business and history. During her undergraduate career she was accepted into the Alpha Phi Fraternity, served as Public Relations Officer for the VU Panhellenic Council, and worked as a writing tutor for the Villanova Writing Center.
After graduation Casey worked briefly in digital strategizing before deciding on a career in healthcare. She aced the prerequisites for a physician assistant master program and earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University (MWU), in Downers Grove, Illinois. While at Midwestern she received the Certificate of Excellence for her Capstone Project, demonstrating the power of screening, diagnosis, management, and primary prevention of gestational diabetes mellitus.
Casey first discovered her interest in gastroenterology during her internal medicine and surgical rotations. She cares for a wide variety of conditions but especially enjoys treating irritable bowel syndrome, chronic diarrhea, GERD, and women’s health issues.
“I’ve always been interested in practicing an internal medicine subspecialty, and I believe gastroenterology is a focused yet diverse area of medicine that affords the opportunity to make meaningful change in patients’ lives. My patients can expect honest, open communication and attention to detail in each of our interactions.”
Casey is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
Originally from Seaford, New York, Casey’s education has taken her to Pennsylvania, Greece for study abroad, New York, and Illinois. She spent five years in Manhattan, where she met her husband. In 2021, they relocated from the suburbs of Chicago to Richmond, Virginia to be closer to family.
Casey enjoys exploring Richmond’s growing restaurant scene, practicing yoga, reading, and taking long walks with her Treeing Walker Coonhound.
