Amanda Devaney, FNP-C, is a certified Nurse Practitioner at Richmond Gastroenterology Associates. Amanda sees patients at the West Creek office in Henrico, Virginia.
She first earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). Remaining in Charlotte, she then graduated from the Mercy School of Nursing in 2011, obtaining her license as a registered nurse (RN).
Her professional background includes working in medical-surgery and the Surgical Trauma ICU at the Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also gained Cardiac ICU and OR experience working at the LewisGale Medical Center in Southwest Virginia.
During her 10-year career as a registered nurse she returned to school, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC Charlotte (UNCC), and her Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University (ODU), in Norfolk, Virginia.
Amanda joined Richmond Gastroenterology Associates in 2022. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and is board-certified by the Virginia Department of Health Professions’ Board of Nursing.

A northerner, Amanda grew up in a small town in the Finger Lakes area of Upstate New York. She and her family are new to Richmond and love being so close to the beach and the mountains. Her husband is an equine veterinarian and their two sons, one daughter, and sweet dog Mando keep them on the go.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys traveling with her family, watching her two boys play football, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
